Back From My Winter Hibernation

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Winter kicks me in the ass every time.  And this one was extra bad!  The snowiest month EVER in Pittsburgh? Blech. Add to that a week with no school, a January with a kid with a broken bone (story to follow, don’t worry ;-) ), and the constant struggle of what I want to be when I grow up.

But, spring is near (even though there is a fresh 4 or 5 inches on the ground).  I almost peed in my pants a little last week, because I was so excited to see a squirrel.

So, I have some stories to catch you up on.  Should take about a week or so to play catch up here.  I’m sure I won’t cover EVERYTHING that you missed…but here’s the preview of potential blog post titles:  1)  Mom Rocks more than Santa 2) New Year, New Bone Growth 3) Boy Parts and 4) That Famous Rat.

So there’s your teaser.  Just like they do for the news. You’ll have to stay tuned to get all of the details…

PittGinny

Just another little note here…I used to love to read PittGirl’s blog, The Burgh Blog.  Then she went away.  She was writing anonomously, and stopped (in a nutshell) because she was about to be found out.  Well, I’ve been following her on twitter and facebook (as PittGirl) and today she revealed her identity.

She’s gotten a new name for her blog.  She’s writing for Pittsburgh magazine.  And she’s a real person.  And a mom.

Awesome.

I think that going ‘public’ has lifted an incredible weight from her shoulders.  I mean, could you imagine that feeling of not wanting to get found out?

Anyway, kudos to PittGirl Ginny.  Or as she’d like you to say, Your Majesty.

Well, I Think I'm All Moved In

Posted by: | Comments (0)

I think I’ve got everything all set up over here.  The only thing I’m not so keen on is that when I transferred everything over, it used my tags as my categories. I may tweak some stuff here and there, but I can finally get back to writing!!!!!  I’ve got lots of stuff coming up…a new ‘Best Thing I Heard,’ stories about the zoo in our back yard and a review of a great website for the little kids over the summer.  And that review will have a nice give away!  I’ll be busy, but I have some restaurant stuff to tend to right now.

Blog ya later!

Hey – POD’ers…Add Your Blog

Posted by: | Comments (0)

This is for all of my Print-On-Demand friends. I created an aggregator for any blogs that have to do with the Print On Demand business at blog aggregators by FeedCluster.com. Just another way to get all of our blogs in one place, and hopefully up our traffic count. So, here’s the address of what I created: podshirts.feedcluster.com. It’s easy peasy to add your blog. Just click that link and on the right you’ll see an option to add your blog (of course, you’ll need to start an account). Once there are a few members, I’ll add a widget on this blog that shows posts from members. There’s also a badge you can put on your blog, too!

If you have other blogs, it was super easy to set this aggregator up. Let me know if you start one realted to a different topic, and I’ll post it here!
