Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Programming

By Heather

Well, I’m getting back into the swing of things.  We’re on our fourth day of school, and we’re all adjusting.  Although I love the lazy mornings in the summer, it is nice to get back to a regular schedule.  There’s a dinner time.  There’s a homework time.  There’s a bed time.

I can actually keep my house a little cleaner (no offense, Becca). I can get things done (like writing this right now).  This schedule is giving me the chance to try to be a little more organized, a little more productive.  Now, as I said on facebook today, I’m trying to be super mom, super organized and super productive.  I’m not quite into the super hero status yet.  There are times (like today) that I forget to eat.  Completely.  Also, I’m so completely exhausted by the end of the day, that I’ve fallen asleep with Becca at 9:00 for the past two evenings.

Now that I’m closing in on both of my kids being in school, I’m wondering what exactly I want to be when I grow up.  Start another business?  Maybe.  The work I do for the restaurant can be done in a couple of hours a day.  Or, maybe I just need to hit the lottery.  Then I’ll just sit around and be artsy.  I did hit for a hundred bucks today on a scratch off ticket.

I was nice, and gave it to Tony to go towards some golf clubs.

Yup, that’s me….Super Wife.
