Best Thing I Heard
Posted by: | CommentsOK, a quick post here. Chloe and I ran an errand today. On the way back home, we were stopping at a small, local convenience store/pizza shop. (I needed smokes…I know….terrible) I let her get an ice cream bar. We get back in the car to head home, and the conversation goes like this:
Me: Chloe, I don’t think we should tell Becca that I got you that ice cream bar
Chloe: Why?
Me: Well, Becca will be upset that we didn’t pick one up for her. So don’t tell her. If you do, the next time we all go out, I’ll let Becca pick something and you can’t get anything.
Chloe: Like what? Ice cream? Anything?
Me: Well, I guess anything
Chloe: Cigarettes?
Me: (laughing) Um, no. Not cigarettes. You know what Chlo?
Chloe: What?
Me: You’re a smart ass
Chloe: Thanks
Yup, that’s what I’m up against!
Well, I Think I'm All Moved In
Posted by: | CommentsI think I’ve got everything all set up over here. The only thing I’m not so keen on is that when I transferred everything over, it used my tags as my categories. I may tweak some stuff here and there, but I can finally get back to writing!!!!! I’ve got lots of stuff coming up…a new ‘Best Thing I Heard,’ stories about the zoo in our back yard and a review of a great website for the little kids over the summer. And that review will have a nice give away! I’ll be busy, but I have some restaurant stuff to tend to right now.
